Is there any LoTAG member computer
literate enough to take on the webmaster role.
After more years than I care to remember
I've been running this site, but have reached the stage where I no
longer able to do it at work and don't seem to have the time when
I get home. Also I'm no longer involved with highways &
engineering so am out of touch with the profession and only get to
know what's going on when I can get to the group meetings
something that's getting more difficult with work pressures.
I'm presuming some of you actually look
at the site, find it useful and want to see it carry on.
There is also the issue of paying for the
hosting, approximately £100.00 a year. LoTAG has no source of
income, there are no subscriptions. Up till now there was a small
surplus from earlier years which covered those costs, but that has
run out.
We need an authority that is happy to
promote LoTAG and fund the website, that is of course if you want
it to continue.
I'm OK to carry on for a couple of
months, but someone needs to come forward before the hosting is
due for renewal at the beginning of May.
