London Technical Advisors Group

The London Technical Advisors Group (LoTAG) maintains a technical network for local government professionals and co-opted members in the highway and transport fields. It provides a centre for professional advice and assistance for local policy development and service delivery on a London wide basis.

Happy New Year to all London's LoTAG colleagues.

Hopefully the worst of the winter blues are out of the way and you all managed to cope without upsetting your residents too much. Our colleagues at TfL are fortunate not to have to worry about Mrs Jones and her missed bin because the footway was iced over.

Well I was a bit wrong about that wasn't I. The last week has been one of trial & tribuloation for all of us. we now have a salt Czar to teach his grandmother to suck eggs.

London Technical Officers have been managing snow & ice for years without problem and still do it well, but we are still prepared to listen to others.
